• One cloudy day I was sitting on the couch reading my book and then I heard it a big boom. I went to go to my brothers room to see if he had fallen. But I found out he hadn't fallen. It wasn't raining out or anything. The sky did look a little weird but not like there was going to be a tornado. It was in the middle of August. so I went back to reading. The big boom sounded like thunder but it wasn't suppose to rain, and it didn't feel like it was going to rain. It was really nice out even though it was cloudy.
After a while I've gotten bored of reading so I decided to go on the computer and talk to my friends or check my email. I heard it again. "I think someones trying to tell me something." I said in my head.
I was home alone only with my brother. so I turned around to look out the window. No one was there. "What on earth could that be?" I wondered in my head.
So I continue to forget about it. I picked up my cell phone and called my mother who was out doing some shopping. "Hello, mom." I said. "Yes dear what is it?" She answered back. "It's just that.... well..... did you hear a big BOOM! Because I keep hearing it and I just cant understand where it is coming from. It looks and feels find like we aren't going to have a storm?" I asked in kind of a stuttery voice. "Well darling I didn't hear anything do you think its just your immagination?" she asked me. "Well I don't know." I said confused. "why don't you go ask Trevor if he heard it. what is he doing by the way?" She asked. "Um.... in his room playing video games. And okay Ill go ask hold on." I told her. So I kept the phone with me so my mother knew I was asking him. Trevor is 16 he loves playing video games. He hates it when I interrupt him. "Trevor, did you hear that big boom?" I asked him, trying not to interupt. "Hold on!" he yelled. He pushed the big button in the middle of the controller. He was pausing it. The game was pretty loud. I could even hear the yelling and fighting in the dining room. "Now what did you ask?" He had aked. "Did you hear the big boom?" I repeated myself. "Uh, no I haven't is that it." He said in his deep voice he always uses. "Yup."
So I left his room and came back out to the computer. "He said he didn't hear it." I told my mother.
"oh she said. Well just let me know if it happens. Remember Im in Beloit. I had to get the bills paid and everything."
