    ♦not self focused
    ♦not judgemental
    ♦giving and helps others

To be honest not every one will be like the heroes i listed. Not everyone will have the traits i listed. so honestly im not sure if its universal or not. Every one can be a hero if they try. People can be a hero by the small deeds they do. they can be a hero by making the correct choice in life. you dont have to get all dressed up in some cape and costume and have to have super powers to be a hero . Hero's like superman. spider man, captin america, the incredible hulk, those heroes are just fiction they arent real. so how do we define a hero? Hero is defined as this :
    he·ro (hîr)
    n. pl. he·roes
    1. In mythology and legend, a man, often of divine ancestry, who is endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for his bold exploits, and favored by the gods.
    2. A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life: soldiers and nurses who were heroes in an unpopular war.
    3. A person noted for special achievement in a particular field: the heroes of medicine. See Synonyms at celebrity.
    4. The principal male character in a novel, poem, or dramatic presentation.

so if a hero is that well its seems my opinion people are just stuck on the defintion and the comic book heros. you dont have to be any of that. every one defines something in there own way. in life you are how you act and present your self to socitey. if you do some small action that is a good action that wont affect you or the society in any bad way, that action i consider an heroic deed. thats how i define hero as some one who makes a small impact and still does something good to help others.
