• like a rose that withers and dies , so does a beautiful young bride she cries before she dies on her wedding night, for she is heart broken and she has been betrayed by her true love who she caught with another brightly colored glistening rose on the night before their wedding day , and yet he says she meant nothing to him and that the young bride meant everything to him in the world ,but how could she trust her lover , let alone her husband to be ever again .
but she warned him on the day of their wedding that if he as so much as talked or looked atanother woman on his way to the church she would wither and turn black like a rose at the church alter because her was hurting and she could bear it no more.... the ending of this story is very sad i must say!
the groom I'm afraid he did look and talk to another two brightly colored young roses that day. on his way to the church to get married.
but when he got there she was black as a very dead rose would look like. but on the alter was a note addressed to him with a single red rose attached to it and that note said this
I told you my dear what would happen, but i guess you didn't care i guess i didn't mean that much to you as you said i did . i will miss you ,but i do hope that those other wemon make you happier than i ever did on this our wedding day p.s here are four things for you the first of these gifts 1) a red rose to show love 2) a white rose to show what was to come over the years 3) a black and red rose the black to show grief and sadness and the red to show that you are a widower. and the last thing that i give to you is my wedding ring. so that you'll know what you have lost on this day. so the young groom didn't get married that day nor ,ever date again instead he buried the love of his life and his young bride. he then laid his wedding vows in the casket with her that day and even now he still sits and cries over her grave as a ghost who broke a promise on that fateful day.
