• Here sits a little girl, one who has gone through most of her life with only her sister and mother. Her father moved away when she was young. She never hated him for leaving her. She couldn't hate him for he was her father, the very man she thanked for allowing her to exist. He had done nothing wrong in her eyes because he was doing the very thing that would prevent him from doing something wrong.

And so, the years went by where this little girl never saw her father. She still never hated him, not even once. When he finally came back, she realized how much she missed him. It was from that day on that he came to visit, taking the girl and her sister to live with him on holidays. The memories of these days were forever embedded into her heart even if they came out a little hazy at times.

Then there came the time where the girl's sister moved away to live with their father. It was a hard day for the little girl for she loved her sister more than anyone and would miss her dearly. So a year passed and she decided it was time she went to be with her father as well. She couldn't bring herself to live with him for more than a year, though, and she moved back home. She never regretted this decision for it gave her some of the best friends she could ever hope for.

A few more years passed and her sister came home, wanting to get away from a woman whose only goal was to drive the two girls from their father. And so, life went on like this until the day came that the little girl's father finally came back to her. There weren't enough words in the world to describe just how happy she was by this. The father she so dearly loved was there again. He was finally home.

But this joy didn't last very long and he went away again. He gave a woman who didn't deserve it another chance. But, of course, he learned from his mistake and he came back for a second time, promising he wouldn't leave again. And yet, that promise was broken. Within a year he was gone again and the little girl was left wondering when it would be that she would finally get a chance to know the man she loved so very much.

Still, the little girl never once hated her father. She couldn't hate him now matter how upset she was with him. She missed him, yes, and she was constantly worried about him, but she knew that he'd finally come back to stay forever one day. She still eagerly waits for this day, knowing that he'll be back not matter how many promises are broken. And she knows that she'll be right there standing with open arms just for him when that day comes.
