• “I love you” he said twisting his fingers in her hair as he hugged her tightly in the airport. “I love you too Jake.” He released her and twirled her around in a circle. “Look at you,” he said admiring her body. “You’re so beautiful, better than I ever expected.” She smiled, she was happy he liked what he saw. “Thank you. You look great too.” She teasingly pitched his cheeks. “You’re way cuter than the pictures you showed me.” He smiled back, took her hand and placed a gentle kiss a pond it. “Thank you, Kimay.” She looked at their hands that were now entwined and let out a happy sigh.
“Kimay,” he said holding her hand tighter.”Hmm?” she looked up and grinned at him, he did not return the friendly gesture. “I’m sad, I don’t want you to go” She looked serious. “What are you talking about Jake?!?!” All of a sudden she feels two cold hands on each of her arms pulling her away. She turns around to see two men dressed in all black with masks and glowing red eyes. Jake releases her hand. “Good bye Kimay” The men forcefully drag her away. “JAKE! Help me! Help me please! Don’t let them take me Jake!” She pulls one of her arms from out of one of the men’s grasps and reaches for Jake's hand. He pulls his away. “Good bye my love” He frowns and turns away. She pulls, tugs, and screams but its no use, they wouldn’t let go. Why wouldn’t Jake help her? She screams again. “Jake! Jake!”

“Jake!” She sits up and looks around breathing heavily. It was a nightmare, another one. Why do I have these dreams? She thought as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. She knew that Jake would never do that to her. She knew that he would protect her and fight anyone who got in his way…. Or did she? Its not like she had doubts about his love for her it’s just, she did have the dream. Dreams do come from your own mind. So did that mean she really did have doubts? She shook her head, she was thinking too hard again. It was amazing how far she could go with just one thought when she did. Like last week at school when a boy blamed his mom for his bad grades. Though he was the one who chose to not do his homework and not study it was technically his mom’s fault. If she had never had sex with his dad and made him then they wouldn’t have had to send him to school. If he didn’t go to school then he wouldn’t have been told to do homework or study. Therefore he would have never failed and his mom wouldn’t have been yelling at him at that very moment. She tried to explain it to her friends but they would always take it as a joke and move on. But bad to my other thought. She said to herself. I wonder what Jake would say if he knew I had doubts… Would he be mad? Mad… No. How he had to right to be mad. Sad maybe? He has tough skin he can be sad cause of a stupid dream….could he? She blows off. There I go again. Okay okay, happy thoughts. Only happy thoughts. I’m in love. I have a very nice house. Uh… my room is clean for once. Yea…..yea. She pulls her converter over her face and thinks about Jake and her on one of the many dates they talked about. She smiled. That’s better. As soon as she got the troubling thought out of her head she felt her cell phone vibrate. It was a text, from Jake.

“Hello and good morning baby. Are you ready for our morning chat?” It read. She smiled, the thought of being called baby did that to her sometimes. She texted back, “Moshi Moshi and good morning! Yes I am ready. Call me in a sec, k?” She cleared her throat; she kind of didn’t like talking in the morning because her voice was always so cracky. She repeated the gesture three more times the waited for another text. Her phone vibrated and tickled her side; it said “Just tell me when you’re ready.” She checked her throat again and texted back “Ready!” Little moments later she felt the vibration again the ring was faster it was obviously Jake calling, she picked up.
“Hey” Kimay said cheerfully “Hi Kimay,” she felt a shiver down here spine; he had a voice that would make any girl melt. “How’d you sleep?” he asked with much curiosity. She thought about the dream that she had and frowned. “I slept okay. . .”
“Hmmm...” he said softly, thinking to himself. She felt like he would soon ask the ‘are you sure?’ question so she quickly spoke. “Well you know how I slept so what about you?” He laughed a little, “I wouldn’t really know because I’m supposed to be sleeping right now.” She felt a little slow for a moment “Oh yea I forgot that you sleep in the morning…. Should I let you sleep, we can always meet at the spot at night as always.” He thought for a second then responded “As much as I do love talking to you, I do need sleep… Can I call you as soon as I’m done?” She looked at the time 10:45 she had authors club in two hours; he would probably wake at two; well they could still text. “Okay, but text me before you call okay?” “Okay… I love you Kimay.” She smiled, “I love you too, Jake.”
They hung up, she smiled a little bigger for two reasons: One, because she enjoyed hearing that Jake loved her and two, the reason they never said good bye when they hung up. Jake loved being around her so much that he couldn’t stand to say good bye, plus as a vampire he could get in any random trouble and hunted by some vampire hunter. She got up, stretched then looked around her room. Magazines, clothes, and a barely seen carpet were of the floor. Five books from her beloved author Sandra Brown were slacked upon her desk. She had read all of then at least five times already. She looked around to find he towel, of course it was no where in sight. Every time she came back to her room from a shower she would always carelessly through and misplace her towel somewhere in this room most people would call a thunder storm. She went in her closet for a new one and headed for the bathroom. She stepped in expecting the same as her room… sloppy. She had to double back and blink twice to realize that her bathroom was sparkling clean. Anya….She said to herself. She must of came by while I was asleep and cleaned up the place. She looked on the sink head and found a note, from Anya of course. It read:

    Dear Kimay,
I cleaned most of the house and cooked breakfast. The only part I did not cleane clean was your room. I can’t have to too spoil. I’ll be there later to check that you are still alive. Eat your brakefast breakfast, is good for you!!
    Love Anya, xoxoxo <3

Kimay smiled, Anya was always looking out for her. Especially since her mother had died last year. She had got in a terrible mountain bike accident. Her mom was always the one for adventure. Her mother’s funeral was huge…. Hundreds of people came to see her once bubbly, crazy and joyful mother. She remembers feeling bad because she was the only person who did not cry at the wedding. Actually she didn’t actually want to go in the first place. Kimay never ever was a fan of funerals no matter who it was. She could handle seeing a dead body and people crying she just….. She gave a loud and long sigh. Whatever…. Let’s just get this shower over with. No more bad thoughts. She stepped in front of the mirror and began to strip off her clothing, it was routine to watch she undress. She wasn’t cocky and loved to see her body…. It would just naturally happen. As she finally took off her last article of clothing she examined her body. She was “super model” tall was big breast, a very awkward pair really; a skinny girl with big breast. She turned around… “Hmm…” She says aloud “There’s nothing wrong with a little butt… You can fit into more jeans.” She hugged herself and smiled. “You’re not that bad.” She walked into the shower. She grinned as the warm water ran against her chocolate skin. She picked out a random liquid sap bottle and poured it on her cloth. She began to whistle as she scrubbed just as her father did in the mornings. Her father… an very bright, confident man; always standing tall and looking out for everyone was now inside a white, dull, and depressing hospital with cancer. Kimay goes to see him every Sunday- which is her only day off- to read him his favorite bible stories. Although Kimay was a loud and most of the time proud atheist she would do anything to make her father smile even if it means reading something every read she didn’t really care for. Good ol’ dad she said to herself smiling. She rinsed off and turned off the shower. As soon as she came out of the shower her phone started to ring. She jumped out and started to run to the phone in her guest room.
“Hello?” she says breathing hard. “Kim Kim! Is that you?!” A raspy voice says from the other line. She smiles “Hi dad.”
“How are you Kimmy? We haven’t talked in what seems like forever sweet pea! I hope you have been eating.” She laughs a little; it was always a joy to hear her father happily babbling. “I’m fine dad, I’m about to go to my author’s club. We just talked last Sunday and yes I’ve been eating. How did you get my house phone… not that I mind?” “Well you gave it to hospital people didn’t you?” She looked confused like her babbly father could see her “Dad please tell me you didn’t steal a hospital file?!”
