• Crazy.

That's a very abstract term, don't you think? It could mean almost anything. Delusional. Insane. Weird. Hyper. Different. Over-the-top. Special. Even the sanest people can be called crazy.

So maybe it's more of a opinion than a word with an actual definition. Who is actually considered crazy by definition? Maybe the insane people. That's the original definition. But then, how did the word grow to encompass more than just the insane?

Of course, we also have to consider the generation we belong to.

Maybe we are all insane. Then again, maybe we all just exaggerate too much. hat would explain it. If there's even the slightest sign of insanity, all of sudden, you're considered crazy.

But some of us are proud to be called crazy. We revel in the glory of insanity, of being known by all as insane, even though we probably aren't.

Look at the truly insane. Are they proud to be insane? They probably don't even know or think that they are. They probably don't even know that hundreds of other people are try to credit themselves for being something that they probably truly aren't...by definition.

That's the whole thing, isn't it? Everything was by the book way back when. Everything was strictly one thing or another. Now, words have been twisted in odd ways to create new meaning. What was once in a book isn't there anymore. It's in our minds.

So we all have different definitions. We keep them in our heads. We make new meaning out of already-existing words. We explore our imaginations. We fail and then try again. We aim for perfection.

I know what we are now.

    Crazy.

    Crazy, but proud.
