• "So what did you want to talk to me about?" Nepeta inquired. She hoped it was some gossip, but Aradia's expression led her to believe it was something more serious.
"Um well you know how all you guys wanted me to go to the counselor…”
“Yeah” Nepeta nervously remembered when Aradia had been depressed; she, Karkat, and Jade had tried to convince her to get help. She didn’t go, and even after she had gotten better Aradia was never the same.
“Well the reason I was sad was… umm well my mom has cancer,” said Aradia mournfully
“Oh that’s horrible, why didn’t you tell us!” exclaimed Nepeta in a shocked voice. She always knew Aradia had kept to herself, but never thought she would keep this bottled up like that..
Aradia shifted uncomfortably “Well I didn’t want you to worry,”
“Not to worry! You making me worry right now!” Said Nepeta enraged “Do you think were not trustworthy?! We care about you. I care about you!” Said Nepeta, close to tears. She felt betrayed, she was so worried about Aradia and she didn’t tell her because she “:didn’t want her to worry”! Nepeta stood in front of Aradia not speaking, trying sort through her feelings.
    Aradia looked around distraught.
“Why? We were so upset and worried about you and…” Nepeta sighed “I can’t stay mad at you, you probably feel worse than me,” “Hug?”
“Sure” Aradia said as embraced her.
“Now let’s go to lunch,” Nepeta said relieved. Get over emotional trauma? Check! Next on her list, devour her tuna sandwich!
