• Deep in the night, I feel myself ponder,
I look out and dream, while I stray and wander
Onto paths long forgotten, to places forbidden,
To every dark valley this world has kept hidden.

And to my surprise, I find myself dying,
My soul is weak; I'm barely defying
The fate which has now been presented to me
The choice of what I am to be.

And through this destruction, rising from the ashes,
The shadows of death, delivering lashes
From whips filled with sorrow, and handled with hate
But when I see what has happened it is now too late.

A silver lance; a flare of fire
It takes more than these to defeat the liar
Who hides in us all, unleashing it's fury
Until all hope is finally buried.

It takes a White Knight, a savior and steed,
To make this dark beast finally heed
The word of the master, the one it controls
And finally, the demon inside of us falls.

But there shall always be another, waiting for it's time,
Waiting for when the souls of the living and the dead are at their prime
And it shall start another battle, raging to the end,
And so I ask, dear reader of this: whom shall you defend?
