Red is the color of love,
like green and yellow are hues.
It is as simple as white on a dove.
Such as the calming shade of blues.
Why then is the red rose a passion,
While white is more of the truth?
Why then do these colors feel ashen,
while combined we think of our youth?
Love is as simple as red and blue.
As is the love between me and you.
