The wills of wisps,
to be sadistic.
Lead me to the deepest bog,
drown me in the brackish water.
Azure hue; false hope of light.
Lead me to the deepest bog,
to where the sun won't find me.
The wills of wisps,
to be murderous.

- Title: Will 'O the Wisp
- Artist: Prince Ripoff

Description:
Kind of short, probably needs another stanza...
note: a will o' the wisp is: The will-o'-the-wisp refers to the ghostly lights sometimes seen at night or twilight — often over bogs. It looks like a flickering lamp, and is sometimes said to recede if approached.
sometimes in folklore, they draw travellers to their death in bogs.
this is a poem based on that; since there aren't nearly enough poems on the subject. - Date: 07/21/2008
