• Similar are the suffering,
    Yet vast and very different.
    A best friend dies,
    As a dog is crushed
    while rumors spread
    Much like a wildfire
In the dry heat of the west.
    Cars meet their end,
    Along with the drivers
    While down the block
A fly meets the same fate.
    Who knows what changes,
    In a mere second
    With the geneocide
    And killing of the masses
    Just as love breaks up
    And couples file lawsuits
    While the kid next door
    Is rejected from the crowd.
    The drugs are the same,
    Wheither it be the smoke,
    The painkillers,
    Or the pleasure of pity.
    It covers up the problems,
    One becomes inhuman
    As fog becomes the world.
    Suffering is very common.
What is the same is obvious.
    Everyone knows it;
    Wheither it be that victim
    Of a school shooting,
    The dropouts of society,
    Loneiness of that rich child
    Or that person named Hitler.
    Different sufferings? Indeed.
    But suffering is meaningful:
    One survives to strive
To learn and live their own way.
