September 11th.
It was september 11th, a regular day
Parents at the office their children at play.
Who would imagine in just a few hours
We'd see the destruction of our mighty Twin Towers..
Out of the blue, there comes a jet plane
Hitting the tower and burning in flame
people were escaping with fright and concern
trying to get out before they would burn
Policemen and firefighters rushed to the sight
To rescue people from that harmful flight.
Doctors, medics, nerses too
Nobody knew exactly what to do.
Out of the sky came another jet plane
Has our whole world gone insane?
The towers soon crumbled, burned, and fell
Truning peacful New York into a living hell.
Soon came the news from the Pentagon
A third place has crashed now how many more are gone?
Then came the news of flight 93
A terrible day in American history.
All through the world out friends were all sad
And here in the states it made us all mad
From Burns to New York, we all had to fight
To show we believed in our freedoms and rights.
It was september 11th, a regular day
Parents at the office their children at play
Who knew in just a few hours
We'd see the destruction of the mighty Twin Towers..
