The tower stood tall on that September day
Busy with people who worked for their pay
Children nearby playing jump rope and such
The loser of the game, not liking it much
From out of the sky, so blue and calm
Flew the planes to the towers, just like a bomb
Not many survived that day of disaster
Many went on to the great hereafter.

- Title: 9/11 Tribute
- Artist: Shanra the Dragon Bard
- Description: I still remember that day as if it were only yesterday. We were living in Baltimore, Maryland. Halfway between NYC and Wash DC. There were people I worked with who had friends and family working in the towers and some of the children my daughter went to school with had parents who worked at the Pentagon. This is my tribute to the ones who died that horrible day.

Wonderful job. It's very simple, yet non of your words can be taken lightly.
I remember 9-11 as well, though I live in Canada, it was still just as tragic.... - Report As Spam

Perfectly done, simplistic, and not at all obscure. 10/10
I too remember that day. 5th grade, math. Shock and horror filled the classroom. - Report As Spam
