Who wants to look like them anyway?
Too much make-up and too much booze
Too much blonde hair and too little brains
Too much to win and so little to lose
A new boyfriend every night
Slaps and drama and huge catfights
Until the Unconventional Beauty steps in
Her hair rainbow coloured, her face set in a grin
Bows and ribbons adorn her hair
She walks around without a care
But nobody cares about her feelings
The Unconventional Beauty cries
Her whole life filled with secrets and lies
No blonde hair and too darker eyes
And the others point and laugh
Who wants to look like them anyway?
Heavy mascara and heavy hangovers
Heavy eyes and heavy heads
Too much to win and so little to lose
A new boyfriend every night
Slaps and drama and huge catfights
Until the Unconventional Beauty steps in
Black hair and a pale face
Doesn’t fit in any place
She walks around with the weight of the world
But nobody cares about her feelings
The Unconventional Beauty cries
Her whole life filled with secrets and lies
No blonde hair and too darker eyes
And the others point and laugh
Who wants to look like them anyway?
Too skinny a body and too low-cut a top
Too hard to stay away from the cops
Too much to win and so little to lose
A new boyfriend every night
Slaps and drama and huge catfights
Until the Unconventional Beauty steps in
Her hair in a ponytail, her face looking grim
Thick plastic specs hide her face
She looks lost, out of place
The others look at her in disgrace
Tears roll down her cheeks
Splashing the floor and creating leaks
An ocean of tears falls from the sky
And no one bothers to ask why
The Unconventional Beauties sob still
Their hair beautiful colours, their voices shrill
Too many bullies and haters and fakes
Helped flood the world with great lakes
Nobody likes them and nobody cares
They’ve made trouble and paid their fares
Hell waits for nobody
And so our story ends there
The beautiful people without a care
Turned out to be the ones despised
They’re the ones with the secrets and lies
The Unconventional Beauties made them see
What a hurtful life they lead
So I must be on my way, but I leave you one question
One thought
A wondering, really, I should say:
Who wants to be like them anyway?

Description:
I'm not really sure how good it is. I've only ever had one person look at it, and now I'm letting the world see it.
It's about the stereotypical blonde, who everybody expects you to be like. Then when someone with brains, a different hair colour, or just different comes along, they get bullied.
It's really about my life as the outsider as well.
Hope you like it :] - Date: 10/09/2008
