The darkness is closing,
In my chest,
My heart has stopped beating,
I have laid it to rest.
I gave my heart to you and you just said,
I'll look after it, it won't get broken,
The very next day it was,
By words left unspoken.
You didn't apologise but gave me the pieces,
I am sorry, I have tried
Was all you said,
I just sat and cried.
How could you do that?
You couldn't of 'tried' so that's another lie,
I know it sounds stupid but I'll hate you and love you,
Till the day that I die...

I'm with Sakura, it wasn't the most original thing to do however it is a very popular way to write about a broken heart so I'll have to go with a 4/5.

i thought it was nice i like the way you explained the heart as an object that you gave to him,it wasnt the most original idea but that doesnt make it bad i thought it was very good overall 4/5
