rain drops dripping from my window pain
slowly falling down from the skies above
changing my thoughts to times of long ago
things that happened in the past
whats to come will this happiness last
how could you say im the one you dream about
how could you say that im the one for you
are the things you say are they even true?
when you say i love you does it come from your heart
i don't want any of your empty promises
but i want to feel i can trust you with my heart
where do i stand,am i your number one

I like the relation to rain, it's very good quality. I've misjudged your talents. Just one thing though:
'are the things you a say are they even true?'

i like it. i realte to the imagery of the rain on my window pane and also of the thoughts changing to those of long ago. Nice one.
