• Entranced by the shadows,
I'm pulled slowly out of sight.
    My eyes following the darkness,
    Flowing through the silent night.

My sight lay on a figure,
    A woman ghostly pale.
Wearing a dull grey wedding dress,
    with spiders in the vail.

I asked the maiden her name,
    she answered "Ashley white".
Her voice sent shivers up my spine,
    Its light tone a delight.

    We walked into a graveyard,
where we talked of costs we spent.
Then we looked towards the sun a'rising,
and our separate ways we went.

The next day I walked into a graveyard,
    Waiting silently up the hill.
The wind was so cold and swift,
That up my spine went a chill.

I walked to where I met my friend,
A dark, cold grave in sight.
My skin grew pale and my eyes went wide,
as I read the name 'Ashley White'.
