If you put 100 candles in darkness,
If you decided one to light,
It would glow in eternal bliss,
But still, the room would not be bright,
But should another catch,
The room would begin to glow,
You wouldn't need a match,
To watch the light grow,
I now offer you a chance,
To feel for yourself the warmth of the flame,
Will you let the light show you, the quality of life enhanced,
Or will you turn it down with shame,
Should you decide this opportunity to accept,
You should learn a whole new concept,
You would help others who are lost,
To help them be shown,
That with the light you won't be crossed,
But that you will be known.

- Description: This poem is based off of what, as Christians, we are supposed to do. I realized that, in a way, we are like candles.
