Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
Quite frankly, why do I care?
I have my own choices set before me
and a choice is what I cannot bear.
Sorry I could not travel both
I, too, mourn that a decision need be made
but one must, as the future fast approaches
I would pick, but am too afraid.
Long I stood and looked down one as far as I could
But, the future, I cannot see
leaving me to make a decision in the dark
to work toward success without guarantee.
I doubted if I should ever come back.
Once decided, the other is no more
the choice is final; no returns
the alternative, I will never explore.
I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference
Ah, but my goals and yours are not the same
and therein lies the choice:
which of the two roads set before me holds the greater claim

- Gah! The point is that it isn't original. The voice is that of someone reading the Robert Frost poem, The Road Not Taken, and finding that it speaks to their own life.

- needs more originality a little spark just enough to start a flame
