• Clean my soul, my heart, my mind.
He'll take my life, all my time.

I watch his moves, his every approach.
He's making the darkness slowly encroach.

I turn and run, running for my life.
The man is following, flashing me the dagger-like knife.

Going to take me, he really just might.
I can't really see, my vision captured by the night.

With my unlucky self and my vision impaired,
I fall into the mush, cold and extremely scared.

He grabs me to flip me on my back.
I squeeze my eyes shut, relinquishing the fact,

That I'm about to be erased, forgotten forever.
He raises the knife, readied to my throat, ready to dissever.

The man can feel my fear, can feel my tremor.
His body fades away with a shallow cut for me to remember.

My eyes flew open, following my usual trend.
I groaned, unhappy that my perfect dream had died, had no happy end..
