• Lovely golden rays
    Of sun,
    Middle of day.
    Illuminate the sky
    And then you wisp away.

    Flowing locks and waves
    So gold,
    Diamond in clay.
    With time this shining hue
    Will slowly fade to gray.

    Lone daffodil sits
    But sways,
    So delicate.
    Golden against green grass
    Yet darkens bit by bit.
