Standing ever so closely to my love
I shiver in anticipation
For my first "bite"
My first taste of blood
And so he walks ever closer
My lips move uncontrollably to his neck
*Crunch*
The ooze slips down my throat
Tasting incredible, I suck in more
And soon
I feel his body tremble
I feel his skin grow cold
I feel his words tickle my eardrums
"I love you"
In shock of what I've done, I quickly step back
Only to find him fall
Dead on the ground
I break down
Acidic vampire tears stroll down my cheeks
Burning my skin as they travel
My heart beats erratically
My mind screams
"You beast!"
"You animal!"
But I lick my lips
Forgetting him
And walk away happily
Ignoring my emotions
Content with my afternoon snack
