• I don't think,
    You ever knew,
    How much I,
    Truly loved you.

    You were the one,
    That was always around,
    And when i was lost,
    You helped me get found.

    But then when you,
    Started getting sick,
It was then that my heart,
    Started to pric.k

    Cancer is deadly,
    That I knew,
    Because my grandma had died,
    Of cancer too.

But it was caught too late,
    And it took your life,
And a chunk from our hearts,
    Especially your wife's.

    And still no matter,
    How far we may be,
    Your still like a second,
    Father to me.

    I miss you so much,
    You haven't a clue,
    Except that I've written,
    So much about you.

An uncle, a father, and a husband,
    You were,
And your heart will be remembered,
    As the purest of pure.

    And i promise you this,
    Just this one little thing:
I will remember not the sorrows of your life,
    But rather the joys,
And know you are now in peace.

I could write stories about you,
    A million pages long,
But i couldn't describe how much i love you,
    Without describing it wrong.
