• Stone or Concrete
    Cobble or Smooth
These are the questions I think
If you want to know about a Street

    Streets lead to places
And places lead to more places
    And again and again
    Until we Meet again

I Rode a different street than yours
And you Walked a different street than mine
And it will start again and again
    Until we Meet again

Old man Whitaker waits for his harvest
He yells and calls for that carriage to arrive
But another finds him in earnest
After he drinks the tainted wine

    The ride is bumpy
So it is cobblestone after all
    But My ride is smooth
    A paved path perhaps?

This street stretches forever it seems
But the Journey to it is but a step away
    I look outside my carriage
I see not one Soul on this street

House upon House follows down this way
No lights in their Windows nor Mine
Their roofs are all but invisible
And their lawns immaculate to the Vine

There is a chill in the air
And I am in but a summer dress
It was July the last time I checked
But I could still be wrong yet

You took this Path not a few days ago
    I merely followed in curiosity
If it was more, I cannot recall
I guess until we Meet again

Your Journey was not long as was mine but definitely rockier
    We'll talk about it again
    Until we meet again
Yes, I think its a cobblestone sidewalk and a paved street.
What a luxury to receive the old man's same blessing!
