• Eyes meet
    Glowing
    At the thought
    Of what’s about to happen.

    Bare flesh
    Touching
    Ready for it
Ready to take the next step.

    A touch here,
    A kiss there.
    Heat slowly rising,
    Boiling until it spills over.

    A moan,
    A grunt,
    The creak of the floorboards
    Just sounds accompanying a scene.

    Feeling that have twirled
    Finally mix
    Finally touch,
Like they should have long ago.

    Time stops,
    But hearts still beat,
    Breathing heavily,
    The moment should last forever.

    Footsteps down the hall
    Come closer and closer
    A hand on the knob,
    The door creaks open.

    Fear of being caught,
    Time moves in fast forward,
    Hearts slow by force,
    Breathing becomes shallow.

    And when the lights
    Flicker on,
    Dad sees her,
    Sleeping soundly.

    He smiles,
    The room goes dark,
    The door closes,
    She sits up.

    And looks under the bed,
    Where he lies silently,
And they look at each other
    And grin.

    One more time
    One more night
    That he’ll sneak out
    And they’ll never get caught.
