The moon stands high in the sky,
Pale as a vampire's smile,
My body casts a long shadow over the graveyard,
The lost souls whisper to me,
Calling me to hear their stories,
I lie down and press my head against the cold hard earth,
I close my eyes.
The voices tell me how the earth holds peace,
Regretful that they never appreciated nature much when they were alive,
The dead share their muses,
The peace in the cemetery is silent bliss,
I open my eyes and raise my head,
The colors of forgotten roses pop against the darkness,
I lay in the soft glow of a vampire's smile and tell the dead my story.

- I usually have doubts about poems that don't make me feel like there is a clear rhythm, however this is absolutely beautiful. I really like it. The language really gives some imagery that sparks the heart.
