• The night continues on but the light dares to seek
Through the curtain and to the tips of the dark with all its fleet
But the black doesn't let the white prevail
For it holds it ground and lets none pass
    Not the light
    Not the white

The little sunshine tickles the darkness’ very peek
But the night gobbles it up before it gets far
    Like a simple morning treat
The window is covered by the curtain, and the curtain hides the light
The light wants to be free
    And come welcome thee
Wrenching off the heavy covers, I rise to my feet
I move to the curtain which I hate,
And I make the darkness shake
With a smile of glee I thrust open the window

To my happiness the light pours in like a fountain
And the darkness is thrown aside like a tissue
The light made it threw and now it covers the room, the house, the town and the land

But it's until that night until the night comes and shoos the light away
That shows that it finally the end of the day.
