    This guy was fine, but something was in decline
    Even though he felt right, I couldn’t imagine us holding hands real tight
    Sure he’s kind, sure he’s fine, and sure he’s the idol person for every girl’s life
    But there’s something more that I just can’t describe

    When you laugh I feel strange
    When you cry I feel sympathy
    When you are near something inside me is beating
    What is this feeling?

    We were meant to be, you and me for eternity
    We were meant to be, like it was chosen destiny
    We were meant to be

    I still remember that day, where I asked you if you were taken
    You requested to delay some time until we were the pending age
    Yet I tried to be lured another way by so called faith

    When you laugh, I smile
    When you’re quiet, I frown
    When you talk, I listen to each sound
    Could it be that you’re the one I found?

    We were meant to be, like it was chosen destiny
    We were meant to be

    Holding hands with him, speaking of his ambitions
    His embrace is so warm, but for some reason it’s not spoken for
    Those words make me feel comfortable, but he acts as if it was usual
    I can’t make up mind if he’s a friend or foe

    It’s not the same when you talk to me
    Your voice is tremendously dreamy
    If I moved I would never forget your name
