Abuse on my hands
Betrayal and tears in my eyes
Why?
You claimed you weren't the sex crazed person you really are
You claimed you weren't the insensitive p***k you really are
Explained everything away
And oh how I believed you
Believed every lie you told me
I wanted you to love me
The way I thought I loved you
But I didn't
I never loved you
I was on a natural high, believing someone cared
But it wasn't love
You taught me that
And I still have so much hate for the things you did
But I learned what love is not
Love is not lies
Love is not betrayal
Love is not guilt
Love is not forceful
Love is not abuse veiled by compassion
Love is everything that you are not
