• The drums of thunder sound as lightning threatened the sky yet again
The rain plummeted the ground, flooding all around it
Lightning flashes and lights up the darkness, a spark of light in the turmoil
The wind blows dismay and fear into the town,
Making trees fly like a cat plays with its mouse before it kills it
After the disaster and the fear, despair sets in
The sun starts to shine as I appear
Overlooking the aftermath of the storm
Out of place to the scene below me
The trees bend low, the houses crumbled like dust in an ash tray.
As I watch the disarray below me, I couldn’t help but to feel unneeded and unwanted.
A cliché in a child’s picture, a stereotypical smile enticer,
Here I am, but no one’s happy,
The disaster of the storm like a veil on me,
    Nobody would notice.
