• Valentine O Valentine
    By Eladrin

    My beloved Ruby,

    Thee and Thine
    Eternal Devotee
simply put in simplistic artistic flame
    by an attempt to explain
    my words no longer contained
two souls of darkness in this twilight realm

    I miss thee

    So many souls
    are so cruel
    in this world

    I love thy gentle hands
I doth recognize your sweet passion
    led my enshrouded soul

    from beneath the echoes
    of the daylight tragedy called society;
    Self-enspelled chains rusted away;
to be free of the errors of perfection

The Spell of thy Ivory caress
the way thy warmth fit into my arms
    gained entrance into my night
broke apart my ancient magick's charms.

A whisper of promise ripped from my lips
    Betwixt and Between
Silver Fey Mist and Cascading Star Rain

    Beneath moonlight's shade so sweet
    Imposing and impossible to explain
    creating such exquisite pain,
    rising amidst celestial rain,

    Love transcendant,
    bonds constricting,
a promise sealed by a kiss
from the essence of my soul

A power of such amazing purity
    that I lack the desire
    to want to control
    but this all put aside
    this next sweet truth
    is heaven forsooth.

    The beautiful darkness within thee
is capable of such amazing love

    Without thy strength,
    I'm naught but ash
    for your gentle words
    resurrect my own darkness

    Withdrawing mine scattered remnant form
    away from the untender mercy
    away into the unfettered love
of the spirits of the eldest fey

    the twisted double standards
that belong to thy souls of dual nature
who walk not in such sweet starlight
but in the cruel light of day.

    I remember of thy grace
sheltering me from an eternal blight of misery
Of those who walk through the scathing light of day.

    You saved my darkness,
ye comfort me with your soft twilight caress,
    My own sweet starlight
Guardian of the darkest secrets of my broken heart

Whatever would I, Eladrin; do without Thee?
