Creating different patterns with their fur.
But the same way of communicating to each other.
Black beady eyes, when light is shone into them
They glow.
Of death, but also of fear.
Of what surrounds them these days
What they hunt is completely
Ordinary for their diet
But a little strange for us.
Watching their prey, day in and day out.
Resting for every few hours or days
The thunderous roar echos through
the jungle at night.
Calling to another one of their kind.
Big paws help them hunt.
Razor sharp, teeth, help as well
Ripping, tearing the flesh off of
Poor defenselessly animals
Just to satisfy their hunger
needs.
Containing in a poor poor climate
Causing their way of living
of coming to an end
These are the "Endangered
Tigers of South Africa"
Save the planet
And the animals
That live on it too

Description:
Watching a show on animal planet, about tigers and I got to thinking, " hey maybe I should write a poem about tigers being endangered and stuff"
So here it is........
BTW the title is suppose to be "Endangered Tigers of South Africa" but apparently that name was too long. - Date: 02/21/2009
