• Tomorrow licks up and down my spine
like a lie told one too many times-
languishing simply because it will always come.
Tomorrow adds up all my faults,
teetering on the edge because it likes giving me that rush
that leaves when I can't even breathe.
And then I crash on sharp rocks and bleed to death,
shadowed by a pier and failure looming.
    People love and leave, assuming
I'll just adjust and cope and smile every day.
Well tomorrow's end is just a jump away.
