The villian is a snake;
Acting on instinct,
Cold-hearted and cruel, creeping and slithering,
Hunting for survival.
The villian is a leech;
Sucking happiness out of the air as we speak.
Friends with the whispering frost, a true vampire,
And is colder than Death's touch.
The villian breaks hearts;
Frozen, icy souls,
Snapped to insanity in
His forever-held grip.
Who is the villian?
What is he?
He is the shadow of our souls,
The black hole,
The abyss,
The one we have named
Loneliness.

I love this biggrin
I liked the way you were describing it, and then at the way we realise what it is, and we all go "Of course!"
Some nice techniques going on here, and nice imagery. smile - Report As Spam
