• They say that the mountains
    Once loved the sea
    Fell for the beauty
That lay next to his feet

But the sea did not see the mountains' love
    She only saw his arrogance
As he sat amongst the clouds above
So she left the mountains for the shore
    And broke his beloved heart

And when the shore's sister saw
    The mountains in despair
Lady Land swore the she would heal
    That broken heart at hand

    So lady land wrapped around
    The mountains' feet tenderly
Laying were the shore once sat
    But unlike the shore, devotedly

    Every time the mountains cried
    Lady land caught his tears
Making lakes and rivers on her face
    Through the coming years

And soon she grew in beauty
    Lush and full of life
And the mountains came to love her
Asking her to be his wife

Soon from them the hills were born
    With their love and life
While the sea and shore began to fight
For there love was not as fine

Still today the sea and shore are fighting
The sea landing thrashing hits upon the shore
In till he is nothing but bits and peaces
    Of what he was before
