To the angels Her voice was a whisper
To the Demons it was a scream
And so i wrote this in a letter
So as not to forget this haunting dream
The darkness were all who would have listened
While the light ignored Her call
So by the dark was She then christened
And into the depths i watched Her fall
Lord forgive me for my weakness
And my deep lack of courage
For my light could not banish the darkness
And following Her i could not manage
The more i struggled i fanned the flame
And woke from one dream to another
Then i returned to what seemed the same
A smothering darkness like no other
Then i forced open my eyes
Not content to leave Her to Her fate
i was going to save Her from her demise
But when i got there... it was to late.
