• It sits upon the Eiffel Tower
    Blinks into the evening sky
    Wishes that it wouldn't cower
    Wishes that it wasn't shy
For it's love has blown away
Like a tiny speck of dust
And all it's dreams have thrown away
And all the days it fussed
Over what was wrong and right
Thus that mark is still there
    That silver-pink and reddish bite
When evil has come and dared
To bite with all it's might
    In the evening air
