"Let My Eyes Speak"
Stare deeply into my eyes,
See the desire I disguise.
If only such feelings could be said
From between my lips instead.
And from my lips these words would flow,
Speaking what my eyes dare show:
My passion and desire for you,
Alas, my cheeks take on the hue.
Red as rose, as rapture, as lust,
A color these full lips don't trust.
But if a color would ever dare
To be brought out in a stare,
Then let my eyes take on the shade,
So the expression of love is quickly made,
For the flush shows through my skin,
The desire that builds within.
So look deeply now, perhaps you'll see
The passion that you ignite in me,
And if my love is truly sought,
Let my eyes speak what my lips dare not.

Description:
A poem I wrote a while ago...this is one of the last poems I've written, and it was when I was 16. I'm 19 now, just to give you the idea on the span of time...LOL
I thought it was alright, I did it as a companion to an image I made, but I like the poem better. Ironically, I was single at the time I wrote this. *giggles* - Date: 04/03/2009
