Out of Tears

I wish to cry over my loss
I yearn to scream and cry out
I want to punch, kick and flail my limbs

I beg for helplessness
I want someone to feel as though they have to procect me; I wish for a tourniquet
I want to cry over you

Tears refuse to come
As I've wasted them all in some distant world
And nothing feels the same
I long to feel numb

Can a blade not peirce my flesh?
Can I not bleed my tears from my wounds
As they will not come from my eyes

The black fire of my pain burns inside
And it refuses to subside

I want to cry
Please, let me cry!!
But I'm out of tears

1. Im sorry for your loss. 2. There is definitely a lot of emotion revolving around this poem and the subject matter. Maybe try having a bit more punctuation and avoid using so many 'i wants'. For example maybe take the first stanza and have it like this
"A desire to cry out over my loss
draws upon me as the need to scream
stirs inside me."
And so on. It definitely has a lot of potential.
