Miss Me

• Description: I had a friend who didn't feel appreciated, so I wrote this since I felt sorry for him. But it reminded me of how I didn't feel appreciated a few years back, and my other friend would tell me how I'm important, and everything he said is everything that's put into this poem.

What cruel words you say.

You often wonder if
tab someone cares.
tab someone would remember.
tab someone would cry.
You often wonder if
tab your life was worth living.
tab your life made a difference.
tab your life meant something to someone.
You often wonder why
tab you’re always alone.
tab you have nothing to hold on to.
tab you’re always left behind.

It’s only too late until you realize
tab you were never left behind
tab tab but only too scared to move ahead.
tab you’ve never had nothing to hold
tab tab but only too scared to fall and get hurt.
tab you were never alone
tab tab but only too scared no one would understand.
It’s only too late until you realize
tab your life meant a lot to someone
tab tab for reasons you would never comprehend.
tab your life made a difference
tab tab for reasons you never even knew.
tab your life was worth living
tab tab for reasons you never thought about.
It’s only too late until you realize
tab someone sheds tear after tear for you
tab tab because you left them for something better.
tab someone remembers you
tab tab because you left them something worth keeping in mind.
tab someone still cares about all this time
tab tab because you left them a someone who needed a friend all along.

What cruel words you’ve put in motion, now too late to turn:
