• Why must the stars glow so bright.
    On this day.
    And its dreadful night.
Drawing my eyes away from the goal.
Where the darkness in my heart has taken its toll.

One day on my path a strange fellow I see.
In his hands he a holds a gift for me.
A trinket so small and delicate in size.
The man cautions me "It may bring about your demise!".

    The man speaks:

"This item you want that your heart so demands."
"If wise in your words will put power in your hands."
"But a word to the wise for decisions made poorly."
"Will lead in your downfall and your life may end horrorably."
"Please young sir I must be on my way."
"Treat this more seriously it's not just a game to play."

Old man your mind must be broken.
To think people will take you seriously with such a useless token.
But i'll be happy to ablidge if money you need.
And take it off your hands, this powerful item indeed.

With suspitition for this man after gaining my prize.
I notice as his stern face sneaks a smile with my very eyes.
I ask to what he smiles at so.
And if he has something to laugh at, that subject I must know.

The old man looks at me with his smile ever so strong.
"Well son if you must know, i'm laughing at you."
"Come closer and i'll inform you of where in your decision you went wrong."

"I am an angel of the night so dark."
"Everywhere I travel, death is my mark."
"In my lifetime this occupation has grown dull."
"But if I find a another to relpace me, my position as a death bringer is null."
"Out of all these pour souls, your the one to carry on."
"For my passion of pain that I once had, now in my old age is gone."
"By touching the item you have in your hand you've released me from my cloaked jail."
"And now your the one who will suffer this dark nightmarish hell."

Why must the stars glow so bright.
    On this day.
    And its dreadful night.
Drawing my eyes away from the goal.
Where the darkness in my heart has taken its toll.

I told my story of how I began.
So look upon me now a twisted and powerful man.
Of killing people in mind back when I was young.
My wish being granted when the sythe is swung.
And how the darkness in my heart will prosper and live long.
Until I end this madness, this sadness, this black-cloaked song.
