• Tearing the page back
    To a time that was once young,
    I'm breaking the barrier
    To see a world once my own.

    Mends from wrecked minds,
    Weeps from my huge eyes,
    Now the act of a contravention
    To a life built on blame.

    Your verve now dwindling,
    Your fire engulfed by,
    The fumes that disperse through-
    A remorse determined to get you!

    The coals now cold, From passions so old.
    My mind never at rest, From those yielding crests.
    A spirit misplaced, From a counter ace.
    Now it's all gone...

    With those pages shredded,
    And the words that I had loved;
    Are no longer embedded,
    As though the plot had been gloved.
