• So you think you're self-rightous?
So you think that you're right?
So you only see the world,
As a place in black and white?

    Laughter escapes my throat,
It's just funny how you're wrong.
Hilarious how a face like yours,
Could haunt me all night long.

And yet I still can't deny,
That you're a part of me.
Another half of this one self,
    Another part not free.

Chained down by wrists, we can't escape,
Our fate is one and the same.
But neither is, nor me or you,
The one that we should blame.

While I, the dark, of every corner,
    Bask in dreary skies.
And bathe in blood from pain and love,
    While children scream out cries.

You thrive at day, and sweep away,
    The fear that I've instilled.
And whipe the tears of childrens pain,
While I rest and wait to kill.

We scoff eachother, you and I,
    We bicker and we fight.
And yet I still, can't find the will,
To forget you in the night.

"Squeeze the blood, and call it my heart",
Though it pains us limb by limb.
A love like ours will no way work,
It's a game only one can win.

So contrast to the dark and light,
    My fangs against you wings.
Oh, how I long, for just one bite,
    Into the peaceful things.

It's all in vain, and you know well,
That what I wish is dead.
But still we wait, chained by fayte,
    For a better life instead.

So on we'll fight, and sling our blades,
    Against one anothers skin.
But all the while, we'll both just smile,
And hope that both will win
    .
