• Eyes dark, flat out,
Their shine replaced by the cold fog intertwined.
Her light dwindled till it was snuffed out.

    My eyes gently resting shut,
Her scent like a distant breeze off an ocean,
Wafting through like an unwelcomed touch.

    Laughter fills the air,
Like my first breath, the shut eyes fling open,
    Fear comes like a prey,
I can’t loose her, my celestial being.
Enthralling hands try and contain her.

    Her tight embracement now laxed.
The rose coloured cheeks a harsh red.
    The only sign of euthanasia,
    Are the tears I shed.

Am I only lost in a dream land?
