You can see the tears

Running down my face

I don’t understand

Slowly through the sky

As an angel passes by

I’m afraid

I can’t look past the pain

It blinds me

I see only fire

I feel nothing

Just the emptiness

It’s sacred

The awareness

The fear

I feel alone

And yet you’re here
