• People are afraid of the woods
    But I like them
    They are my safe haven
They are mine because no one comes here
The troubles from the outside world
Is lost in the vastness of the woods
Their beauty makes my troubles seem insignificant
The sun washes through the trees
    And clears away the darkness
The woodsy air clears my head
    Until I can't think anymore
The bird's chirp is like a lullaby
Calming the beating of my heart
Coming to the woods makes me happy
    And sad
For I'll have to leave them soon
Back to the miserable world that brought me here
But just the thought of coming back
Allows me to live through the troubles of the day
And for that I thank the woods
For helping me keep my sanity in this messed up world
