• There was a pretty lady.
    My mom.
She made me wear clothes I hate.
She even had a shawl for me.
As a last ditch effort to keep my identitity, I grabbed my headphones.
It was a big party for some big wig after he got some silly award.
I'm not quite sure how we even knew this guy.
    There were so many people.
    I hated it.
    I hate people.
So I went to the balcony.
    Behind me I heard footsteps.

    They came up quick.
    No one would see.
No one would notice me missing until I was long gone.
When I woke up I was on a table.
    Still in that stupid dress.
    My phones were gone.
    I couldn't move.

    Then it started.
They stuck long needles in my arm.
Wispering complicated scientific sentences to eachother.
    It hurt like fire.
Not for long though, I blacked out soon enough.

    My eyes opened.
A loud alarm was going off.
Scrambling men in coats were tripping over eachother for the door.
I broke off of the table, swiped at the few in my path.
They scared my face as I escaped.
I grabbed my phones on the way out.
Finding safety in a closed school I went to the restrooms.
What met my eyes was disgusting.
My arm had mutated into this hideous beastly worm-like thing.
Breaking and taking a piece of glass
    I gouged out my eyes
Slowly giving in to the madness that consumed my soul
I roamed the town, destroying anything in my way
    No one could stop me
    Not even myself
I finally reached the open sea
    The hatred stopped
And I felt my arm returning to normal
    Before that could happen
    I ran into the water
    As the waves overtook me
I remembered the stupid dress I was still wearing
and how I could only think about the song playing on in my head...
