• A white orb illuminates the sky,
Trickling softly into a dark abyss,
    The roar of waves crash,
    On a forgotten shore.

    The air hangs still,
Not a note playing within it,
    The trees seem to shiver,
As vanilla snow falls from their ancient branches.

    A crack shatters the air,
    Chilling the night,
    As an ancient being falls,
    It shatters to the ground,

    Root's are torn,
Those who dwell in them flee,
    As the ancient tree dies,
    Into the winter night.
