• No starlight penetrates the silence
    Left for me, left for the monster
    Awaiting a compromised presence.
    Seven broken mirrors, seven reflections,
    A heart of many emotions
    Broken.
    Too many roads, too many forgotten memories
    Meant to stay that way.

    Old nocturnes fill the rooms
    Bringing on the solstice of the year,
    What the mind absorbs of the world
    Will create a new era for my spiritual chambers
    It is Winter at last.

    A gust bites my body
    Howling at me, testing the wits
    Scolding me for cowardice;
    I'm frozen, don't expect me to take
    Another step--I'm already lost.
