In the forest it’s plane to see winters beauty
Snowfall’s in a splendid design
Resting atop the tree branches immaculately
Beholding this wonders beauty tonight
Children laughter in the distance
I wonder along in awe
Be still my beating hart
I know this place quit well
This frozen lake glimmering in the night
The moon shines on it as to call me closer
Fillings for purest joy and serenity overwhelm me
How I wish I could stay forever but it cannot be
Tomorrow will be the winters end
With that thought my hopes have been cashed
I walk back to my cabin sorrowful and alone
As I lay in by warm bed I say allowed
I will never forget this winters night
The memory will last a lifetime
Resting in my hart for ever more.
